Offical Revelation Biography:
Revelation has not only stormed the streets with music, but they also promote brotherhood and community service during their time off stage. This band of Christian members wanted me to give them an honest and peer-critiqued review of their attitudes, talents, and love for God. To be honest, I wouldn't ever listen to another group of musicians if Revelation could perform all the time, everyday. They exude humility and strive for perfection in every arena of their lives. Chad Chrisman, known to many as "Yellow," has been bringing up his low end of the band since the group began. He plays a melodic bass and has the hair to prove it. Barry Box, known to many more as "B-Squared," rounds the group out with harmonious string sounds on acoustic guitar. Zach Prichard, whom shall always be known as "Fuzzy," plays what Webster might call : A circular or polygonal wall supporting a dome or cupola. Obviously there is no need to examine the meaning of his instrument, so I won't. And finally, the small cog in the clock that is Revelation: Micah Kennedy. He has no nickname, however is vigorously searching. He leads the band forward. He's sometimes singing and playing guitar, however, most of the time he simply plays a mean kazoo, (the sound that Revelation is notorious for). When these four are apart it almost feels as though the cosmos stops and waits for their unity (WHAT?). But when these Fine individuals become the phenomenon that is Revelation, people listen. Please don't let my official review lead you to any opinion yourself, but take the time and listen to their music. I promise that their music matches their lifestyle: Harmony meets Syncopation. Please chew on that for a moment and then stop. Please visit the purchasing desk and get your copy of "Worth It All" today.
Revelation Biography:
Revelation has been one of my favorite bands to listen to for about thirty-eight years now. It's really easy to pinpoint the truest reason why I love this band: their commitment to excellence. They try to give everything they have into their ministry, leaving nothing on the table. I got to really know them when they started recording their first CD in '84. My show was a pulsating success while they're music was on their way to becoming some of the most 'listenable' sounds on the airwaves. I just wanted to let everyone know my feelings toward Revelation. Please remember to wear a sweater, it's cold out there.
